Caterham Sigma 1.6 Throttle Body 150bhp Upgrade
The Sigma 1.6 engine commonly used by Caterham has always lacked the "Zing" of the K Series.� Many other upgrades that have been available have required major internal engine improvements that led to large financial investment.We are pleased to be able to now have available a simple "bolt-on" package.� No internal engine work required.

Installation of new generic map for same engine spec. - Approx 150bhp
The installation of the Piper Cams and re-timing of the engine all matched up to AT Power throttle bodies and filter produce approx 150bhp on our "safe" generic map.� The improved driveability and throttle response significantly improve the feel from this engine and bring it far closer to the K series.We can also offer as additional options an unlocked new MBE 9M4 ecu with the same generic map.� �630.00 + vat� (This gives you freedom to see all the engine parameters and make relevant adjustments going forward.Our second option is to add-on a bespoke Map.� We can either take your car for mapping at our preferred partners or indeed you could make your own arrangements.� We anticipate a further 5 - 8 bhp gain if this option is chosen. Our price includes all the items above (based on an existing MBE ECU being used on the car) and the labour to install the parts. You may wish to add more options.� All of which can be undertaken at the time of installation.
